Plazes Does OpenSearch

Plazes developer Klaus has cooked up a new feature of his own today: an OpenSearch plug-in for Plazes.

If you visit Plazes.com with an OpenSearch-compatible browser (currently Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2) you’ll see a visual indication that there’s a search plug-in available. In Firefox this is indicated by a blue halo around the arrow in the search box:

Click on the arrow and you’ll see that you have the option to install the Plazes plug-in:

Once the plug-in is installed, you can use it to search for people, plazes and groups on Plazes.com in exactly the same way that you use the standard Google Search:
